This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 29, 2008:

God motivates me to get up and go for it! I have alot of potential it is just a matter of using it and not conforming to the flesh. Its a tough and cruel world to live in these days. Sometimes its hard to get out of bed, but I make myself and when I do I feel SOOOOO much better. Pray to God and He will give you strength.

What do you have the hardest time asking for?

Posted on Jan 8th, 2009 by Christina : Everlasting Love Christina
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 04, 2009:

Anything. I was brought up to do everything on my own and every time I did ask for something there was the usual negative response. Over time I just quit asking for any sort of help because there is that fear of rejection (I guess). Sucks because of this I feel I have no support.  I know I need to work on this and I will!

What do you have the hardest time giving?

Posted on Jan 8th, 2009 by Christina : Everlasting Love Christina
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 05, 2009:

One unattractive quality about me is the tendency to interrupt and not listen to everything a person is saying. I guess I would say I have a hard time giving a 100% open ear. (Please know that this is mostly around my family and not my close friends!!!) People that interrupt are so annoying and I catch myslef doing it. Put my whole family in the same room and we all interrupt each other. Its sad! With this comes the lack of listening. I guess at times we all drift off but when someone needs my help, I need to be there regardless!

What is going right in your life right now?

Posted on Jan 8th, 2009 by Christina : Everlasting Love Christina
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 08, 2009:

SO much is going on right now!!! School, studying, breast cancer research, volunteer at cancer center and read to sick patients, applications for medical school, studying for MCAT - admissions test to med school, extracurricular activities, getting caught up at my house - I painted and refinished the floors over the break, establishing a closer relationship with God, still tweeking exaclty where I need to be in life. I say all this and it sounds like a mess but this year is going to turn out awesome. I will have finalities in my work, school and home soming soon and its so nice to see the light at the end of the tunnel!!! Smooth sailing awaits!

What has your recent relationship to money been like?

Posted on Jan 14th, 2009 by Christina : Everlasting Love Christina
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 13, 2009:

I believe that money can destroy people. I would rather be dirt poor and happy than with a pile of money and miserable. Some would say that I am crazy to think like this but if they were to actually experience it they would understand. Right now I live day to day, do the best I can with bills and try not to stress about lack of finances and debt and just adjust accordingly.

If you had to pick another religion to practice, what would it be

Posted on Jan 14th, 2009 by Christina : Everlasting Love Christina
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 12, 2009:

I would only choose Christianity. The Bible was written for us to study and understand God's word. It says in the Bible to believe in the scripture and to believe that Jesus has died for our sins. I know that I will go to heaven for two reasons... One is that I have committed myself to Jesus and try to live as he would (although no one is perfect, we sin daily!). Second, God sacraficed his son for us. Jesus died on the cross for us to wash away our sins. If you believe and ask God for forgiveness, He will take all of your sins and place them in Jesus's hands. Your sins will be washed away and you will be born again! For those that ask for daily forgiveness, they are born again every day!!! What a great feeling inside!

Why cant everyone in this world just get along??? Imagine how nice this world would be if people actually smiled and cared for one another. The next time someone is rude to you in the grocery store or just plain mean, just smile and say "Have a blessed day". And mean it!

Who or what would you like to be thankful for today?

Posted on Jan 15th, 2009 by Christina : Everlasting Love Christina
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 15, 2009:

I am thankful to simply be here today. Some people in this world today are corrupt in their own ways. Selfish, rude, inconsiderate, only out for themselves... you get my point. people take much of everything for granted and do not apreciate what they have in life. I was speaking to a friend the other day. He is a doctor participating in ALOT of missions work. He was in Laos caring for about 200 children. Simple procedures like nutrition, shots, colds, lice. He said he put his Ipod earpiece up to the kids ears and saw the expression on their faces when they heard music for the first time! How amazing would that be!!! Appreciate what you have, dont take things for granted and serve people with a smile!

The Friday Five :)

Posted on Jan 16th, 2009 by Christina : Everlasting Love Christina
1) What do you think is beautiful about the Earth? God created Earth and in this he created man and all living things. He created all of our surroundings and what a wonderful masterpiece He has made!!! All natural things created by God that were placed on this earth are what makes it beautiful :)

2) What animal(s) do you think are beautiful? Butterflies are remarkably pretty to me. They seem so delicate and gentle. Eagles because they soar with beauty and grace and stand for honor and pride. Cheetahs - remarkably fast with beautiful coats

3) What are your favorite flowers? Daisys. That are happy flowers.  They look as if they are smiling at you and come in so many beautiful colors

4) Do you like to watch sunset or sunrise? Sunset mostly. The most remarkable sunset I have seen was in St. Croix. It looked as if the horizon was staring me in the face

5) What makes your life more beautiful? God opens my eyes and allows me to see the beauty in this world. Without Him, I would see nothing

Posted on Jan 30th, 2009 by Christina : Everlasting Love Christina
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 29, 2009:

Exactly what alot of us need to be listening to. Take a test of intuition: Write down all the things that little voice inside your head says to you and then see if those words were ritgh! You might surprise yourself and start to listen!
